Bear's Den / Announce London Hammersmith Apollo Show

BearsDen 2021

Today, Bear’s Den reveal that they’ll be headlining London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on 20th February 2020. The announcement comes following their triumphant headline slot on the second stage at London’s leafy Gunnersbury Park’s Citadel Festival yesterday.

The band released their third album 'So that you might hear me' in April and by the end of this year Bear’s Den will have served fans in every corner of the UK, US and Europe. This will have included both intimate and career-defining headline shows, support dates with Neil Young and high up slots on some of the biggest European festivals and no doubt Bear’s Den have created a genuine emotional connection with everyone who listens to their music or comes along to their shows. Their show at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo in February will be the culmination of a year’s relentless touring of 'So that you might year me', as well as being a homecoming show for the London based band.

Last week the band announced a set of intimate tour dates known as the Highlands and Islands Tour, which will see the band embrace the history of Bear’s Den and take them on a voyage the length and breadth of the Scottish wilderness. These shows were where the band played some of their first ever headline shows and represent a return to the roots of the band, as well as a rare opportunity for fans to see the band in some intimate and beautiful locations.  The London-based duo created music in various incarnations before making their official formation in 2012. Their debut album, Islands, which was released in 2014 earned them an Ivor Novello nomination, whilst their 2016 follow up album to this, Red Earth & Pouring Rain, ended up reaching heights at #6 in the UK album chart. Bear’s Den have sold almost 500,000 records over their career trajectory and after years of virtually endless touring have sold over 100,000 tickets worldwide, including global festival appearances at Bonnaroo and Glastonbury. The band will only add to this amazing number with their performances at the likes of Boardmasters and Lowlands festivals this summer, building on their ever loyal fanbase through their consistently stellar live shows and thereby taking the world by storm from every corner.
