Ahead of his extensive European tour kicking off in October, Charlie Cunningham makes available two live audio recordings ‘Don’t Got Far’ and ‘Hundred Times' on streaming services today - two examples of Cunningham’s extraordinary song writing talent and agile guitar playing. Listen to both tracks on Spotify HERE.

The two live tracks are taken from the forthcoming EP ‘Flesh & Bone Studio Session’ comprised of five live recordings and released on November 2nd on Infectious / BMG. The original versions of these songs feature on Cunningham’s current album ‘Permanent Way’ released in June to wide spread acclaim and showcasing songs with boosted colours and dynamics but still retain his achingly personal appeal. A version of ‘Lights Off’ from Cunningham’s debut album ‘Lines’ completes the EP track listing.

Cunningham marked the album’s release with a sold out show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s South Bank, on the back of a tour of the US and Canada. His love of performing and burgeoning live following around the world, has helped boost his impressive streaming figures which now stand in excess of 250 million worldwide.

Cunningham’s next radio single will be the original version of ‘Headlights’, “I’m quite a private person outside of performing” Cunningham admits. “There is some autobiographical stuff in the lyrics, but it flits in and out quite a lot; it’s much more about people generally and their interactions.”  Along with his band, Cunningham takes to the road again in October for dates across  Europe ahead of a headlining UK tour in November. Tickets are available from Charlie’s official website.

Charlie Cunningham released his debut album, ‘Lines' in 2017 to widespread acclaim from international listeners and critics. The album brought together his unique combination of deft nylon stringed guitar playing with dramatic dynamics, creating distinctive, spectral melodies.  A move to Seville to hone his guitar technique acted as a catalyst to Cunningham’s creativity. Taking the percussive and rhythmic qualities he developed there, he began to thread his individual approach together. His songs have received airplay across BBC 6 Music and Radio 1 whilst on Spotify, the versatility of his songs have led to millions of monthly plays.

PRAISE FOR ‘PERMANENT WAY’:
“A wonderfully dynamic experience” - Clash
“Music with craft and beauty at its core” - Atwood Magazine
“The essence of Charlie's sound is that he plays  those nylons like heart strings” - The Arts Desk
