Swimming Tapes / Share New Single 'Alison', 'Soft Sea Blue' EP Out On Friday
With their brand new EP, ‘Soft Sea Blue’ out this Friday (15th Sept) and a headline show at The Lexington in London next Wednesday (20th Sept), Swimming Tapes have today unveiled another brand new track in the form of ‘Alison’.
Speaking about the latest track, ‘Swimming Tapes’ share: “Alison is about a good friend of ours who moved to Australia a few years ago. We used to spend a lot of time together and now we can only reminisce, but you know that when you do meet again it will feel like no time has passed. Our friend's name didn't really fit the chorus melody so we had to change it to Alison, but they won't mind!”
Swimming Tapes recently revealed a video for another of their forthcoming EP’s standout tracks, ‘What’s On Your Mind’. The nostalgic cut, typical of the band’s dreamy sound, is available to watch on YouTube here.
Having sold out their first ever London headline show (at The Waiting Room) earlier this year, Swimming Tapes will headline The Lexington on Weds 20th Sept. Final tickets for the show are on-sale here.
Released on Hand In Hive / B3SCI, ’Soft Sea Blue’ will be available digitally and on very limited edition 12” vinyl. Pre-order the EP here.
